05 May 25. A stroll around Philips Park. Cloudy.
Philips Park opened on 22 August 1846 as one of the world's first municipal parks, intended for free use by the public. The creation of the
park was largely due to a local MP, Mark Philips, who lobbied considerably for the construction of parks for the working people of the city.

A couple of the wood carvings around the park.

Wall mural on a former railway viaduct.
