Marple to Glossop

30 Nov 19       Train to Marple then walked over Mellor Moor and Cown Edge to Glossop, then train
back to Manchester.  Mostly sunny but a bitterly cold wind on the tops.

At Marple railway station.

A very frosty morning in the Goyt Valley near Bottom's Bridge, Marple.
We are still in Greater Manchester here.

Restricted Byway sign - one more step and we are in Derbyshire.

near New Mills, Derbyshire.  Kinder Scout almost cleared of low cloud, but not for long.

It was a good move to stay further west - the easterly wind kept the high tops covered in
low cloud all day which dispersed on the western side of the Pennines, leaving me in sunshine.
