1 March 18 The Beast From the East finally reached Manchester but lost a lot of its ferocity over the Pennines.
Fairly steady but relatively light and powdery snow for the past 24 hours which the wind was blowing about.
Not much incentive to drive anywhere on the roads so I had a walk along the canal to Ashton-under-Lyne.
