Tameside

8 September 16       A stroll along the Ashton Canal.   Mostly sunny.

The towpath on the marina link is getting a bit overgrown.

Just then 'Still Waters' arrived at the basin in order to turn round.

'Still Waters' is owned by the Tameside Canals Trust.

I hadn't noticed at the time but it appears the Lord Mayor was on board.
