2 July 11.  Ben Hope, Sutherland.  Thin high cloud in the morning which slowly thickened during the day.

Ben Hope is the most northerly 'Munro' (peak of 3000ft or over) and of course is a popular hike.
For the first time this holiday I met other walkers while out in the hills.

Ben Loyal over the Kyle of Tongue.  At sunrise for a change - 4.30 am.

That lone tree again.

Ben Hope and Loch Hope.

Strath More towards Ben Hee.

Foinaven over Strath More.

Ben Hee and Strath More.

The Kyle of Tongue from the summit.
In the far distance you might just be able to make out the hills of Hoy in the Orkneys, over 50 miles away.

Loch Eriboll and Loch Hope from the summit.

Ben Klibreck from the summit.

Strange clouds over Foinaven.
