16 October 17       Strange light this morning - a 'red sun'.  Apparently caused by ex-hurricane Ophelia
dragging up dust-laden air from the Sahara, exacerbated by forest fires in Spain and Portugal.
 It cleared later and was much brighter - and ridiculously warm.
