21 February 17       The arch for the new Irwell rail bridge was being lifted in to place today but
they had started early and it was almost in place by the time I got there.  Cloudy, rain later.

Quite a crowd watching.

Not mine, unfortunately..!

A tram was parked up on the new Second City Crossing platform.

Apparently, there is to be a special trip for the local big-wigs later today.

The new line opens 26th February.

A quick look at the Axis Tower - crane base going in and lots of re-bar.
