Scotland

15 October 15         The problem with the campervan brakes seemed to have cleared up on yesterday's drive
to Swaledale so, as the forecast was good for the next few days, I decided to head up to Scotland today.

Mostly sunny but a thin veil of high cloud made the lighting a little flat.

The Blackmount range from Rannoch Moor.

This viewpoint is right next to the main road and must be one of the most
photographed views in Scotland but I can never resist stopping
when the weather is like this.

The Lochaline to Fishnish ferry 'Loch Fyne' at Lochaline, Morvern.

Heading for the Isle of Mull.

Not very busy today.

Loch Scridain, Isle of Mull.

Loch na Keal, Ulva and Inch Kenneth islands from near Balnahard.

I thought I was seeing things... an orange sheep..!

A ram actually - they dye them orange so they can easily
be spotted when they are out on the hillside.

Sunset over Loch na Keal.

Postscipt.  I had no further trouble with the brakes until after I got home,
then it started again.  Turned out to be one of the brake discs warped.
