9 June 14    A stroll through town in the rain, but the forecast was for sunshine by afternoon so I betook
myself off to a nearby hostelry for a while to await developments, as you do.  After a pint or two the
sun came out so I jumped on a tram to Salford Quays for a cappuccino, as you do.
