I had a bit of a lie-in this morning (8.00am) but lingered on the ridges until late, getting back to the car at 10.30 pm. The days are so long up here at this time of the year I had to resort to using the head torch for only the last fifteen minutes. Clear skies, unbroken sunshine, a cooling breeze, some airy ridges to traverse, and I saw only two other people on the tops - perfection!
